The Department of Labor (DO) on behalf of the Department of Education (ED) just issued the 2026 Talent Search RFP. Talent Search is one of ED’s seven TRIO programs. Talent Search provides grants to prepare disadvantaged secondary school students to apply to, and graduate from, a program of post-secondary education or a registered apprenticeship program. Colleges, nonprofits, secondary schools, and charter schools are eligible applicants. There is $875 million available over five years with grants to $250 thousand per year for five years but you must act fast as their submission deadline is May 1. Seliger + Associates will write your entire Talent Search proposal or edit your draft for a reasonable flat fee. Call 800.540.8906 ext. 1 or email seliger@seliger.com for details.
