The Department of Labor (DOL) on behalf of the Department of Education (ED) just issued the 2026 Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) RFP. EOC grants fund projects to inform disadvantaged secondary school students on how to apply to, enroll, and eventually graduate from a program of post-secondary education or a registered apprenticeship program. IHEs, nonprofits, and secondary schools are eligible applicants. There is $253 million available over five years with grants to $1.3 million per year for five years but you must act fast as their submission deadline is May 14.
