The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) just issued the Safety Through Recovery, Engagement, and Evidence-Based Treatment and Support (STREETS) NOFO. The STREETS program funds comprehensive, street-based engagement, treatment, and recovery support services for individuals who are homeless and have serious mental illness (SMI), serious emotional disturbance (SED), substance use disorders. There is $112,000,000 available over four years with grants to $3,000,000 per year for four years to be made. Eligible applicants are cities, counties, states and Indian tribes. non-fire based); or an emergency medical services agency. You must act fast as the submission deadline is July 17.
